“I Was Victim of Domestic Violence” – Monalisa Chinda Reveals

Beautiful Ms. Chinda will this afternoon share her experience as a domestic violence victim and survivor at the Pearls Conference in Abuja. "Hello dearies. Today is D-day. I will be at the Pearls Conference in Abuja to share my experience as a domestic violence victim and survivor."

She spoke through her twitter handle few minutes ago, trying to let cat out of the bag, on her experience. She stated, "Domestic abuse, also called intimate partner violence, is the systematic suffocation of another person's spirit. #SayNoToDomesticViolence

"When there are millions of people in the world, why let one of them ruin your happiness? I survived and so can you. #SayNoToDomesticViolence. I felt reborn and happier since I broke free from the abuse. I am truly living life and no longer just surviving. #SayNoToDomesticViolence.

"MyAdviceToVictims – There is no safe way to remain in a relationship with a person who has no conscience. The only solution is to escape. Again I say – I was once a victim of Domestic Violence but survived and even stronger, so, YES YOU CAN! #ThePearlsConference happening today."

"Stand up for yourself & your rights as a human being. You are strong, you are beautiful & there is more to life than walking on eggshells."
